what happened

David Friedrich noticed that a cabinet which plays ten different bands still went completely silent the moment you touched it, and wired the splash screen for sound - every card, row and door with a note of its own, picked by where it sits and tuned to whatever the band happens to be playing tonight. The field guide is fifteen rows long, and running a cursor down it is a scale.
