what happened

The field finally learned who built half of it. Versions landed, traps laid and flights on the board turn up on the pilot card and as trim on the hull - earned off the record, assigned by nobody, worth nothing in a fight and everything in a hangar.

landed as “Service stripes, and the hull wears them”

the numbers

the commit, drawn

5 sectors on the scan, each drawn as the thing it is; 1 of them arrived in this commit; the heavy one is src/game/service.js.

meanwhile

While v20 was on the cabinet, David Friedrich changed the rules.

landed as “An empty commit no longer smuggles a breach past the referee” — 07 August 2026

The rules themselves were altered: tools/golden-check.sh checks the commit message even when no files changed - the nothing-to-check exit only applies when there is also no message to judge.

While v20 was on the cabinet, David Friedrich changed the rules.

landed as “A trap is proven by its own author, or the book says so” — 07 August 2026

The rules themselves were altered: the event skill gains the prove-it-survivable ritual (author flies their own trap as GUEST, tape beside the landing) and GR11's balance bullet says the proof is expected, on honour, with no enforcement.
