what happened

David Friedrich went through the field guide and struck out the two entries that were talking about the furniture instead of the game. The door still asks whether you meant it and the panels are still in tonight's key, they have simply stopped mentioning it.

2 sectors on the scan, each drawn as the thing it is; 2 came back lighter than they went; the heavy one is src/ui/clicks.js.

meanwhile

While v17 was on the cabinet, David Friedrich changed the rules.

landed as “The book re-referees the gutting budgets now” — 07 August 2026

The rules themselves were altered: the audit in tools/chronicle.sh (the book and --skips, in lockstep) re-referees GR4 and GR5 off the history - net lines removed per file against its first-adding author, overrides honoured, docs/, the ledger and src/events/ exempt, the commons list matching the referee's. GOLDEN_RULES GR4/GR5/GR12 Checked lines updated to say so.
